Structural Change Affects Reporting at Barclays

Barclays Bank has announced the impact of changes in group structure and reporting on 2006 and 2005 results.

The restatements, which have no impact on the group income statement or balance sheet, relate to the 2006 and 2005 results.

The Barclays Financial Planning business, previously managed and reported within Barclays Wealth is now managed and reported within UK Retail Banking.

In the UK certain UK Premier customers are now managed and reported within Barclays Wealth, and in International Retail and Commercial Banking - excluding Absa, a number of high net worth customers are now managed and reported within Barclays Wealth in order to better match client profiles to wealth services.
