(1).jpg)
One of the world's largest asset management houses has brought in new figures to its team in Asia (excluding Japan).
T Rowe Price, the $1.31 trillion investment house, has added two figures to its Asia ex-Japan team: Daisy Leung (main picture), director, intermediary distribution for Greater China (a newly-created role and based in Hong Kong); and Claudia Phuah (below), associate director, intermediary distribution, Southeast Asia. She is based in Singapore.
Leung is responsible for developing and managing relationships with intermediary clients based in Hong Kong and Taiwan. She reports to Hong Kong-based Priscilla Leung, head of intermediary business, Greater China.
Before joining T Rowe Price, Leung served in distribution and business development roles at Ninety One, Janus Henderson Investors, and BOCI Prudential Asset Management.
Phuah reports to Nick Tong, head of Southeast Asia intermediary distribution, based in Singapore. She previously served as a member of the client development team for the wealth management business at UBS (formerly Credit Suisse). Prior to that, Phuah acquired extensive experience in the asset management industry while working with clients across Southeast Asia at J P Morgan and HSBC.
