Temenos Wraps Up Fintech Purchase, Boosts Wealth Sector Ambitions

Temenos said the acquisition in a cash and equity deal adds to its wealth franchise ambitions.

Zurich-listed banking technology group Temenos has completed its purchase of fellow Swiss firm additive, a fintech which works with wealth managers and banks.

The acquired business has 30 clients globally including prominent wealth management, banking and insurance clients. additiv is headquartered in Zurich with 10 offices globally and about 200 employees.

additiv will retain its name and brand, Temenos said in a statement on Friday.

On 8 June, when the acquisition was first announced, Temenos said it was paying a consideration of about half in cash and half in equity.

Temenos expects the deal to be marginally accretive to Temenos’ full-year-2026 annualised run rate (ARR) and non-IFRS subscription and software-as-a-service guidance; it is also expected to be neutral for its 2026 full-year earnings before interest and taxation, earnings per share, and free cashflow (FCF) guidance.

The founder-led management team will continue to run additiv as a stand-alone business after closing.

“The acquisition is aligned with Temenos’ strategic focus of strengthening its wealth franchise,” Temenos said.

Temenos operates in a number of regions, such as Asia, North America, Latin America and the Middle East, as well as its home Swiss and European market.
