UBS Asset Management Names Onshore China Head

The Swiss firm's asset management arm has named a senior, Shanghai-based manager for its onshore business.

UBS Asset Management has appointed Raymond Yin as head of China onshore and managing director.

He is based in Shanghai, according to his Linkedin profile. 

Media reports said Yin will be responsible for leading the execution of UBS AM's China strategy, including expanding the firm’s onshore wholly foreign-owned enterprises.

Yin reports to Rene Buehlmann, Head of Asia Pacific, UBS AM.

A graduate of Harvard, Yin has worked in the financial services sector for 26 years in Asia and the US. Most recently, he was partner and head of the international division for Shanghai Chongyang Investment Management and CEO of Chongyang International Asset Management.
