The firm hopes this new hire will strengthen its capabilities in the fixed income sector.

UBS Asset Management has appointed Patrick Jung as fixed income specialist.

Jung will work with the Sydney-based fixed income team and he will work with its clients and research consultants, the firm said in a statement last week.

Also, he will assist the client coverage team to ensure it meets its client’s objectives.

He has over ten years’ experience in the industry. He spent eight years at the National Australia Bank in Sydney and Singapore.

“Patrick will further strengthen our existing capabilities and extensive experience in the fixed income space,” said James Blair, head of fixed income specialist team.
