UBS Wealth Management Bolsters Presence In Midlands

The world's largest wealth manager has hired a new client advisor as it looks to strengthen its operation in the region.
UBS Wealth Management has appointed Andy Jackson as a client advisor in its Midlands, UK office in a bid to expand its offering in the East Midlands.
Jackson previously worked for UK private bank Coutts, where he was a private client director for nine years. Prior to that, he was an investment planning manager at NatWest and ran a family office for an ultra-high net worth family.
In his new role, he will be working with UBS Wealth Management's team in Birmingham, alongside client advisor Kaleem Mohammed, who currently covers the East Midlands for the firm.
“We’ve been working with clients in the Midlands for the past 10 years, with client advisors spread across the region. The Birmingham office is going from strength to strength and we are constantly on the lookout for the best talent,” said Philip Wood, UBS Wealth Management's Midlands regional head.
He continued: “Although when people think of business in the Midlands they traditionally focus on Birmingham, there is an abundance of business activity across the region, beyond the West. Andy’s arrival will enable us to bring our offer to more entrepreneurs, business owners and families, as we continue to focus on opportunities outside of the West Midlands.”
