UK Wealth Manager Rathbone Launches Online Valuation Service

Rathbone Investment Management, the

UK wealth manager, has launched an online portfolio valuation service for independent financial advisors who use its discretionary fund management service for high net worth clients.

The system is designed to offer wrap-type functionality by grouping all an IFAs’ clients, giving easy access to their valuations in one place and displaying the valuations on a consolidated basis or by a client’s individual account, such as a self invested personal pension, trust or offshore bond.

“We built the online valuation system very much with IFAs in mind although individual clients can also sign up to access their own portfolio,” said marketing director Emily Morris.  “Some IFAs are beginning to build significant business with us and want to review accounts simply and easily.  The service is also being used by some of our life company partners where we are on panels for their SIPP or bond products.”

Rathbones’ online valuation system will be launched formally at the Personal Finance Society Conference on 10 November, although some IFAs are already using the system.

Rathbones manages nearly £10 billion of funds for individuals and trustees. Rathbones is part of Rathbone Brothers, a UK-listed company.
