UK-Based Middle East, North Africa Team Head At HSBC Private Bank Leaves

This publication can confirm that Hossam Alsaady, head of the Middle East and North Africa at HSBC Private Bank, has left the UK/Hong Kong-listed banking group.

This publication can confirm that Hossam Alsaady, head of the Middle East and North Africa at HSBC Private Bank, has left the UK/Hong Kong-listed banking group.

A media report said he has left to create his own wealth management business but HSBC was unable to comment on the report. On his Linkedin page, Alsaady is described as “Founder & Managing Director, Godolphin Wealth Advisors”, and with a base of London.

Alsaady joined HSBC in December, 2010. At that time, he was named as head of its London-based Saudi Arabia team. He had previously worked at NCB Capital, a Saudi bank.

The global head of HSBC's Middle East and North Africa business is Sobhi Tabbara; he is based in Geneva.
