Unapen launches new business-intelligence platform
ClientLogix meant to boost client retention and growth despite
market woes. Financial-service software maker and business
consultancy Unapen is out with a business-intelligence and CRM
engine to help wealth and asset managers retain and attract
clients even in difficult times.
"Advisors using ClientLogix 4.0 are poised [not only to] weather
the current market turmoil with higher client retention rates,
but also are aggressively acquiring new clients because they are
able to provide superior client service and relationship
management with less effort," says Unapen principal and
co-founder David Gemma.
Unification
ClientLogix 4.0 combines Sage Software's SalesLogix CRM 7.5
platform with Unapen's expertise in integrating portfolio and
partnership accounting, compliance, trading, billing,
performance-attribution and document-management systems. This
adds up to higher operational efficiency, increasing margins,
controlled overhead and a more satisfied client base.
RIAs typically work with CRM systems that feature a limited
amount of fairly static and isolated data, according to Gemma. As
these systems fail to keep pace with the increased needs of
institutional and high net worth clients, firms re likely to
encounter significant client attrition rates, he adds.
"Our clients enjoy a significant strategic advantage because
ClientLogix has helped them evolve to the point where they can
easily access and manage holistic wealth-management information
in one unified application instead of four or five different
applications," says Gemma.
Version 4.0 of ClientLogix also lets executive management,
compliance officers, traders, portfolio managers, sales,
marketing and operations personnel quickly personalize how
information is organized and processes are defined according to
specific job functions.
Wallingford, Conn.-based Unapen helps wealth managers, family
offices, banks, trust companies and institutional asset managers
streamline operations and workflow across organizations with a
view to helping them grow assets and minimize overhead. -FWR
