What's New In Investments, Funds? – Bank Of Singapore

The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relevant to wealth advisors and their clients.

Bank of Singapore, Keppel
Bank of Singapore has closed a limited subscription period for an access fund giving its clients exposure to Keppel’s third data centre fund. It said the offering was among its most successful closed-ended products in years.

The Keppel Data Centres S64 Access Fund SP9 was originated by and distributed exclusively through Bank of Singapore, the private banking arm of OCBC. It invests in Keppel Data Centre Fund III (KDCF III) and provides tailored access to selected data centre opportunities across Asia-Pacific. The bank did not disclose how much was raised.

Keppel, the Singapore-based asset manager and operator, had S$18 billion ($14 billion) in connectivity funds under management at the end of September 2026. Its portfolio spans 39 data centre assets across Asia-Pacific and Europe, with more than 900 MW of gross power capacity. In August 2026 Keppel was one of four companies provisionally awarded 50 MW of new capacity under Singapore’s second Data Centre Call for Application, which drew more than 20 proposals. The award will support Keppel Data Centre Singapore 11, an AI-ready facility on Jurong Island with expected investment of more than S$1 billion, BoS said in a statement.

Data centres have become one of the most sought-after infrastructure assets, driven by demand for AI computing and cloud services. Singapore is among the most supply-constrained markets globally. Arizton Advisory & Intelligence projects that the city-state’s data centre market will grow from $3.25 billion in 2025 to $5.11 billion by 2031.

The fund adds to a series of alternatives offerings on Bank of Singapore’s platform over the past two years, including Veritas Capital Fund IX, Coller Private Equity Secondaries Fund and PIMCO Absolute Return Strategy Fund IV.

“Private markets are becoming an increasingly important component of client portfolios as investors seek greater diversification, resilience and access to long-term structural growth opportunities beyond public markets,” Jean Chia, global chief investment officer at Bank of Singapore, said.
