Endowus, a wealth management and investment platform operating in Singapore and Hong Kong, has partnered with CVC to launch its first standalone private credit strategy, aimed at European direct lending.

The strategy, which is open to accredited investors in Singapore and professional investors in Hong Kong, was previously offered only as part of Endowus portfolios. The firm said it is now available on a standalone basis in response to client demand for dedicated European direct lending exposure.

Minimum investments are lower than those of a traditional closed-end private credit vehicle, Endowus said, although the strategy keeps the illiquidity typical of the asset class. The firm did not disclose minimums or fees.

CVC is Europe's largest collateralised loan obligation manager. It has more than 20 years of experience in European direct lending and manages €52 billion ($58.53 billion) across its credit platform. It runs a dozen local offices and works with private equity sponsors and banks to source deals.

β€œWhile the European lending space has provided significant opportunity in the market through the years, direct lending strategies available for private wealth clients have largely focused on the US,” Hugh Chung, chief investment officer of Endowus, said.
