Singapore has launched a single $300 million life insurance
policy, aimed at the high net worth client segment. The
development is an example of life insurance forming part of
the wealth management toolbox.
βAs HNW families place greater emphasis on long-term certainty and legacy planning, they are looking for insurers with deep experience and the ability to deliver well-structured solutions at scale,β Benoit Meslet, CEO, Manulife Singapore, said. βThis issuance reflects the trust placed in Manulife and reinforces our leadership in the HNW sector.β
The policy was issued and underwritten by Manulife Singapore, it said.
In the last 12 months, Manulife Singapore issued 25 individual policies, each valued at more than $50 million to individual customers, it said in a statement this week.
