What's New In Investments, Funds? - HSBC Private Banking

The latest in funds and investments across Asia-Pacific.

HSBC Private Banking
HSBC Private Banking has closed its Vision Private Equity 2019 programme to new fund-raising, rounding out a process through which Asia-based clients have put more than half a billion dollars across a number of funds.

Each HSBC Vision Private Equity portfolio is an annual single vintage composed of a blend of primary investments and selectively sourced secondary investments and co-investments. It is designed to give a mix of short- and long-term value.

The programme has been designed by HSBC Private Banking and HSBC Alternative Investments Limited, a unit of HSBC Global Asset Management. HAIL manages $11.4 billion of assets across private market funds and mandates.

“Our Vision 2019 placement follows the successful close earlier this year of Vintage 2018 from Baring Private Equity Asia which received $142 million of investor commitments from Asia clients,” Abdel Ben Tkhayet, Asia co-head of investment services and product solutions group, HSBC Private Banking, said.

The private bank was recognised as the Best Alternatives Provider in the WealthBriefingAsia Greater China Awards held earlier this year in Hong Kong.
