CAIS, a US
alternative investment platform for advisors, has appointed David
Canter as a strategic advisor.
Canter brings more than 20 years of experience serving the independent advisor community, including more than a decade at Fidelity Investments. At Fidelity, he led the RIA and family office segments and led the practice management and consulting practice for Fidelity Institutional. Earlier in his career, David held a senior leadership position at Charles Schwab.

Trail Advisors has promoted three of its figures, Caitlin
Hagan, Sarah Silverio, and Michelle Zeng, to partner.
Hagan has been with the firm since its inception in 2015 and is a relationship manager for the firm’s Chicago office where she manages some of the largest family office relationships. She also oversees operational, compliance, and human resource initiatives for Summit Trail’s Chicago office.
Silverio, a Chartered Financial Analyst, is based in the New York office and joined the firm in 2017.
Zeng, CFA, has been a member of Summit Trail’s investment team in New York since inception and leads its due diligence in marketable assets as well as its operational due diligence process. Zeng is a voting member on the Summit Trail investment committee.
Summit Trail Advisors is a member of the Dynasty Network of financial advisory firms. Summit has $16 million of client assets, with offices based in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Seattle, Harrisburg, and Washington DC.
