Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Capital Group, Adams Street Partners

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in Asia-Pacific wealth management.

Capital Group 
Capital Group has appointed Jim Goldie as head of exchange-traded fund capital markets business for Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Goldie, based London, is joining from Invesco, where he was head of capital markets, ETFs and indexed strategies. He has also worked for Vanguard, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Goldie serves as chair of the EFAMA ETF Task Force and co-chair of the EU’s T+1 Governance Committee for Asset Management.

Adams Street Partners
Adams Street Partners, a private markets investment management firm with more than $65 billion in assets under management, has promoted Chris Cho, partner, investor relations, to head its IR group for Asia.

Cho, who joined the organisation in 2017, will lead the firm’s regional investor relations strategy and client engagement efforts across Asia-Pacific, excluding Japan. Assuming the role in February, he is succeeding Ben Hart, who is leaving Adam Street Partners after 10 years of service. Cho will be based in the business’s Hong Kong office in the second half of this year.

Adams Street has partnerships across the whole of Asia, with 169 clients in Asia representing $18.9 billion of the firm’s AuM. The firm maintains offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, and Sydney.
