Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? β Citigroup, Marex

The latest moves and appointments in the Asia-Pacific wealth management sector.
Citigroup said yesterday that it has appointed Yuko Nakayama as head of equity capital markets for the Japan investment banking business. Nakayama will report to Taiji Nagasaka and Akira Kiyota. She will also have matrix reporting lines to Harish Raman and Kenneth Chow. The ECM team in Japan will report to her, the US bank said.
Nakayama had an earlier tenure at Citigroup from 2009 to 2015, followed by a period at Goldman Sachs, before rejoining in 2023.
Such roles feed into the ideas that are shared across the US banking group, including its wealth and private banking businesses.
Marex Group
Marex Group,
a London-headquartered financial services business, has
appointed Joseph Jiang, vice president, commodities sales in its
hedging solutions business. He is based in Hong Kong.
Jiang has more than 10 yearsβ over the counter (OTC) sales experience from BOCI in Beijing, following an early career at Trafigura, where he worked as a physical [commodities] trader.
