The latest senior wealth management moves, appointments and personnel changes in the Asia-Pacific industry.

US-headquartered investment manager Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo, aka GMO, has appointed Glenn Tan (pictured below) as head of institutional business (Asia ex-Japan) at GMO Singapore.

Tan will report to Zane Bernstein, head of client relations for Asia-Pacific at GMO.

With close to 20 years’ experience in institutional asset management across Asia, Tan was previously head of institutional sales, Southeast Asia, at PineBridge Investments (now part of MetLife Investment Management), where he led institutional client coverage and business development efforts across the region. Before that, he was institutional business development director at Amova Asset Management, responsible for developing relationships with institutional investors. 

Tan holds a master of science in accounting and finance from University of Warwick, and a bachelor in business management and accountancy from Singapore Management University.
