Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – HSBC

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in Asia-Pacific wealth management.

HSBC
HSBC has appointed Ruby Ho as head of markets and securities services (MSS) for the ASEAN collection of Southeast Asian nations, based in Singapore, effective immediately.

With almost 30 years’ experience in financial markets, Ho joined HSBC in 2011 and has held various positions across different asset classes. Prior to her latest role, Ho was head of MSS in HSBC Taiwan.

In a large banking group such as HSBC, there are crossovers in the way work such as securities services affect the private banking and wealth management side.

“Singapore is priority growth market for HSBC, and we have continued to build out our regional banking and advisory capabilities, supporting capital and investments needs of our clients in ASEAN,” Wong Kee Joo, CEO, HSBC Singapore, said. “Ruby’s deep knowledge across asset classes and ability to build strong collaboration across our wealth and corporate banking businesses will help us deepen our market share in this region.”
