M&G
Investments has appointed Luke Chang (main picture) as
general manager and head of intermediary distribution,
Taiwan.
Joining yesterday, Chang is based in Taipei and reports to Amy Cho, head of Asia-Pacific, M&G Investments.
Chang will lead M&G’s Taiwan intermediary distribution strategy, with responsibility for boosting the development and deepening M&G’s relationships across financial intermediaries. Chang brings nearly two decades of experience in investment management, distribution and business leadership in Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China. He has joined from AXA Investment Managers, where he was most recently CEO of AXA Investment Managers Shanghai and head of sales, China.
Chang has also served in investment, distribution and leadership roles at BlackRock across Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Freshfields
Global law firm Freshfields has appointed
private capital partner Sean Donovan to join its global M&A
and capital practice in Singapore.
Donovan is rejoining Freshfields from Permira, where he served as a managing director for six years across Hong Kong, Singapore and London. Prior to Permira, Donovan worked in Freshfields’ private capital M&A team for over eight years, spending time in the London and Hong Kong offices. He is dual qualified in England & Wales and New Zealand and advises on transactional matters across all sectors.
