The latest moves, appointments and other personnel changes in Asia-Pacific wealth management sector.

Matthews Asia
Matthews Asia, which is headquartered in San Francisco, said this week that Tiffany Hsiao is to rejoin in mid-December. She will be joined by two of her former colleagues at Artisan Partners and operate from Hong Kong. 

Hsiao originally joined Matthews in 2014 and departed in August 2020 to launch a China-focused private fund at Artisan Partners. Prior to her departure, Tiffany managed the firm’s China Small Companies, former Asia Small Companies (now Emerging Markets Small Companies) and Asia Innovators strategies.

Prior to her tenure at Matthews Asia, Hsiao was a vice president at Goldman Sachs Investment Partners in Hong Kong and Tokyo.

ATFX, a global online trading services provider, has appointed Line Ho Young Peteri as vice president for strategic partnerships and affiliates. 

Line brings extensive experience in strategic marketing, affiliate management, and cross-channel business development. Most recently, she served as senior manager, strategic partnerships and affiliation at Exinity, an online brokerage, where she drove global affiliate growth and forged high-value partnerships.

The firm, which has a presence in 24 locations, holds nine licences from regulatory authorities, including the UK's FCA, Australia's ASIC, Cyprus' CySEC, the UAE's SCA, Hong Kong's SFC, South Africa's FSCA, Mauritius' FSC, the Seychelles' FSA, and Cambodia's SERC. 

Amundi
France-headquartered asset management group Amundi this week said it has appointed Chloe Shea (main picture) as the head of investment specialists, multi-asset and solutions, for Asia excluding Japan. Based in Hong Kong, Shea’s appointment takes effect immediately.

Shea reports to Florian Neto, head of investment for Asia, and Dan Levy, head of solutions business development and investment specialists.

With more than 15 years’ experience in client consulting, manager research and multi-asset investment specialism, Shea was previously an investment director at Schroder Investment Management’s multi-asset team in Hong Kong. (That business is part of UK-listed Schroders.)

Shea previously worked at Manulife Asset Management and Towers Watson Investment Services. She is a chartered financial analyst and holds a bachelor of science degree in quantitative finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Amundi had €2.317 trillion ($2.68 trillion) in assets under management at the end of September this year.
