Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Mox Bank, Standard Chartered

The latest senior wealth management moves, appointments and personnel changes in the Asia-Pacific industry.
Mox Bank, a Hong Kong-based virtual bank, has appointed Philip Yin Pui Wong (main picture) as its chief commercial officer.
Wong comes from Standard Chartered, where he was previously the managing director, heading customer experience work in China as well as wealth AI advisory development globally. (Standard Chartered is one of Mox’s backers, along with Hong Kong Telecom, PCCW and Trip.com.)
Mox, which is headquartered in Quarry Bay in the city, launched in September 2020 as one of the city's digital banks. It is licensed by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
The bank said Wong’s role includes brand, marketing, product profit and loss, marketing, business analytics and customer experience.
“The rising demand for accessible digital wealth solutions is fuelling Mox’s success. Philip’s extensive wealth management expertise aligns perfectly with our ambition to be the best digital wealth bank in the market. I am confident that his leadership will keep Mox at the forefront of the digital banking space and propel our next phase of growth,” Barbaros Uygun, CEO of Mox, said in a statement.
