Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Partners Group, Australia

The latest moves and appointments for senior roles for Asia-Pacific wealth management.

Switzerland-headquartered Partners Group, the private markets firm, has appointed Toby Mannock as private equity head for Australia, media reports said.

Mannock, who will be based in Sydney, will be responsible for leading the firm’s private equity business in Australia.

Before this, Mannock worked at ANZ, where he was a managing director in the investment banking division. He has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on M&A, private equity, and corporate finance.

In late June Partners Group appointed Joris Gröflin as partner and chief financial officer, with effect from 1 February 2024 at the latest. Gröflin will take over responsibility for the firm’s finance activities from Manuel Ottinger and Philip Sauer, who co-led the function ad interim. They will retain their roles as head of finance and head corporate development, respectively. Gröflin will be based in Zug, Switzerland.

Since 1996, the firm has invested more than $195 billion in private equity, private real estate, private debt and private infrastructure.
