London Asset Management has appointed Kevin Haran as head of
regional sales. He is based in Sydney.
From 2018 to 2024, Haran was head of institutional sales, Australia and New Zealand, at Affiliated Managers Group Pty; prior to this, from 2015 to 2017, he was head of institutional sales for Australia and New Zealand, at Natixis Australia Pty Ltd. He also has worked at Macquarie Investment Management and Colonial First State Investments Ltd.

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Malaysia has appointed
Wendy Ooi as head of the corporate banking department in
Malaysia.
This closely follows the recent appointment of Joyce Tee as head of corporate banking department, Asia-Pacific.
Based in Malaysia and reporting to Nizar Faisal, deputy CEO of SMBC Malaysia, and Joyce Tee, head of corporate banking department Asia-Pacific, Ooi will lead the bank’s non-Japanese corporate banking strategy in Malaysia.
Ooi has more than two decades of experience in corporate and investment banking, most recently she headed Standard Chartered Malaysia’s corporate, commercial and institutional banking business. She started her career at RHB Bank Bhd and has since served in various leadership roles, including director of client coverage at The Royal Bank of Scotland Bhd.
