Tim Coverdale has been made senior business development manager in Leeds for Aberdeen Standard Capital.

He will be responsible for developing intermediary and introductory relationships across the North of England, reporting to head of intermediary business development, Jim Stacey.

Most recently, Coverdale led business development at 7IM for the North of England and Scotland. He started in financial planning and later spent time at Scottish Widows where he became client relationship director. After that he led the strategy for UK banks and building societies for US-based financial service group, The Hartford.

“Tim has built up a respected reputation locally which will support our growth plans,” ASC chief executive Richard Charnock said.

Griffiths reports to Guy Henriques, head of Europe and Asia client group. He brings more than 35 years of industry experience to Capital Group, most recently as head of UK and Ireland institutional business at Schroders, a firm he joined in 2015. Prior to that, he was co-head of Northern Europe at PIMCO from 2008 to 2014, focusing on the UK, Nordic and Benelux institutional markets.
