The latest senior moves in wealth and asset management from across Europe and the UK.

FiCAS, the Swiss-based crypto investment management boutique, has appointed former senior PricewaterhouseCoopers figure Dr Daniel Diemers as a new member of its board of directors.

Dr Diemers is a founding member of the Swiss Blockchain Federation, the Swiss Finance Technology Association, and the Crypto Valley Association, as well as a serial digital entrepreneur and investor. He is also a former financial services partner at PwC Strategy and former PwC head of blockchain for Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

His appointment comes after FiCAS launched the Bitcoin Capital Active ETP, which it said is the world’s first discretionary managed exchange traded product with cryptocurrencies as the underlying asset. This ETP is listed on SIX Swiss Exchange.

EY Switzerland has appointed Pascale Lenz as its head of human resources with effect from 1 September 2020. She will be replacing Mario Vieli, who has decided to take on a new career challenge at another organization after twelve years at EY. 

Lenz has 25 years of experience in human resources. Apart from a brief foray at a major bank, she acquired her expertise at technology giant IBM, heading the Industry Solutions Lab at IBM Research in Rüschlikon (canton of Zurich) with responsibility for the customer centre and its specialists. She was later responsible for executive talent management in a European role.
