Hawksford LSS in Zurich, part of the wealth-structuring group, has added to its team with a senior hire.

Lawyer Marc Renggli will provide general advice to national and international clients in various aspects of Swiss law and will assist in the setting up and administration of civil and common law structures of various jurisdictions, predominantly Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Singapore and New Zealand.

Renggli has worked as a lawyer in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Singapore. He began his career at Coutts Bank in Zurich, practising as a financial planner and trust consultant. In 2004 he joined LGT Trust Company in Liechtenstein as a relationship manager for Switzerland, Austria and Germany. In 2009 he moved to Singapore, building up the Asian market for Jeeves Group; he is now back in Switzerland.

The Hawksford group was established in 2008 following a management buyout of Rathbone Trust Company Jersey and has been growing since then. 

In June 2011, it opened a Dubai office and in August 2011, the business acquired Swiss firm L-S&S GmbH, a boutique private wealth law firm. In January 2012, Hawksford acquired Trustcorp Jersey and says it is “actively seeking expansion into countries that will add further value to clients.”
