has confirmed it is moving from its large two-floor space in Singapore's Asia Square Tower, moving to the recently-opened Marina One site a short distance away.

A report - later confirmed by the Zurich-listed bank - said that at the end of June Julius Baer will have moved about 800 employees to the new premises.

The new office is said to be able to accommodate up to 1,000 people.

Reports noted that the development was launched in January 2018 by Malaysia’s Prime Minister at the time, Najib Razak, who is being investigated about connections with state-run wealth fund 1MDB, accused of being used to facilitate dirty money transactions.

Julius Baer has described Asia as its second home market.
