Indosuez, Bloomberg
, part of France’s Crédit Agricole Group, has become the first client to use Bloomberg’s “Rule Builder” which is designed to make the firm’s exchange traded fund trading more efficient.
Bloomberg’s Rule Builder for ETFs enables automated trading via its request for quote (RFQ). The solution helps traders automate certain trades and administrative tasks, freeing up their time to focus on complex, high-touch trades and other decisions. Rule Builder is available for fixed income, foreign exchange, equities and futures.
Indosuez WM already uses Bloomberg’s equities execution management system, EMSX, and BTCA, Bloomberg’s transaction cost analysis solution.
“There are clear benefits to automating ETF trading, as this type of operation is highly requested by our customers and part of our daily activities. Since using Rule Builder, we have seen a significant increase in order flow, as well as a marked improvement in the quality of trade execution,” Cyrille Nahabedian, head of capital markets solutions of Indosuez Wealth Management, said.
