Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Eastspring Investments, FWD Group

, the $269 billion asset management business of Prudential, has appointed Fanny Lee (pictured) as head of intermediary sales, Hong Kong, effective immediately. Lee will be based in Hong Kong, reporting to Szu Yi Chin, head of global financial institutions (GFI) and intermediaries, Eastspring Investments.

Lee has more than 25 years’ experience in private wealth distribution across Hong Kong and Greater China. Previously, she served in senior leadership roles across leading global asset managers, including head of Greater China Advisor at Ninety One Hong Kong, and head of private bank distribution and head of family office for Hong Kong at BlackRock. She holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a BA in economics from the University of Toronto.

“Hong Kong is a key market for Eastspring – both as a leading wealth hub in Asia and a gateway to Greater China,” Szu Yi Chin said. “We are focused on scaling our intermediary business by deepening partnerships across key channels and strengthening local presence to better serve our clients.”

FWD Group Holdings
Hong Kong-headquartered has appointed Martin Zingg as a non-executive director to join its board of directors, effective immediately. Zingg will also become a member of the board’s audit and risk committees. The FWD Group board now consists of 14 directors, comprising nine independent non-executive directors, three non-executive directors and two executive directors.

Zingg serves as group head of corporate development and strategic investments at Swiss Re, leading the group's corporate development agenda, including control transactions, minority participations, and private debt investments. Prior to his current role, Zingg held various senior positions at Swiss Re in investment management and corporate development across the US, Europe, and Asia over more than two decades. He also served for more than five years as group chief investment officer at Catlin Group, an international specialty and property/casualty insurer and reinsurer. Zingg holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Zurich University of Applied Sciences and completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
