, announced yesterday that it has opened a wealth centre in Singapore.

The centre is Singapore’s “first dedicated wealth advisory centre built around an open-architecture model,” Ascend Asia said.

The centre allows financial consultants from Ascend Asia's member firms to access insurance, investment and wealth solutions from a variety of providers instead of a single provider, Ascend Asia said in a statement. The centre has about 10,000 square feet of space at Asia Square Tower 2 in Singapore's central business district. It includes private advisory suites, collaborative work areas and dedicated space for client events, professional development and meetings with product providers.

The organisation said it supports member firms to scale their operations through investment, industry expertise and technology.

The Singapore centre opening comes after Ascend Asia’s Finexis Advisory (HK) unit opened a new centre in Hong Kong in July this year.
