Eastspring Investments In this newly-created role, Périssé will lead the development and commercialisation of Eastspring’s insurance solutions capability, the firm said in a statement. He will focus on delivering solutions that help insurers meet their capital, balance sheet and investment objectives, including asset-liability management, capital efficiency, income generation and sustainable investing outcomes. “Insurers across Asia are navigating increasingly complex investment, capital and balance-sheet challenges, and they need partners who understand both their investment objectives and the regulatory environment they operate in,” Salman Haider, chief distribution officer, head of ASEAN, Eastspring Investments and CEO of Eastspring Singapore, said. Périssé, who has more than two decades of experience across investments and insurance, has joined from Eastspring from Fidelity International, where he was global head of insurance solutions for EMEA and APAC. He responsible for developing the firm’s insurance asset management business and advising insurers on investment strategy, capital optimisation, product design and regulatory considerations. Périssé has led multidisciplinary teams of actuaries, investment specialists, risk professionals and regulatory experts across markets, working closely with insurers, regulators and industry bodies. Prior to Fidelity International, he served in senior roles at Schroders and AXA Investment Managers, where he helped build insurance solutions capabilities. Earlier in his career, he held quantitative research, structured solutions and business development positions at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Société Générale Asset Management Alternative Investments.
