UK-listed Prudential plc has appointed Chan San San, chief executive officer of Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, in the newly-created role of chief partnership officer at Eastspring Investments, the group's asset management arm. That appointment takes effect from 28 September.

Separately, Prudential said it has appointed Naveed Irshad as regional CEO for Indonesia, the Philippines and Africa, effective 26 October 2026. He will also take enterprise-wide responsibility for the health and product businesses and will join Prudential’s group executive committee. He will be based in Hong Kong and report to CEO Anil Wadhwani.

Irshad brings more than three decades of insurance and financial services experience across Asia and North America. Before joining Prudential, he held senior positions at Manulife.
