Asia IAM Luminary Creates New Business In Hong Kong

A figure in the IAM market in Asia has created a new investments business, focused on international clients.
A prominent figure in Asia’s burgeoning independent asset management sector has founded a new business in Hong Kong, called The Capital Company.
According to Jessica Cutrera’s LinkedIn profile, since January she has been a founding partner at the Capital Company Hong Kong. In a summary, the firm is described as a “Hong Kong-based independent asset management firm offering global and Asia-specific investment strategies to international investors”.
The summary goes on to say that the firm’s four founding partners, who are not named, have backgrounds in financial services from Europe, Australia and the US. “We specialise in comprehensive wealth management and portfolio strategies for high net worth western and Asian families with a focus on evidence based investment strategies,” it said.
Capital Company operates on a fee-only basis, the summary said.
Previously, Cutrera was managing director of EXS Capital Asia, a role she held from April 2008 to December 2016. Prior to her role in Asia, she worked as a registered representative for Charles Schwab, the US brokerage and investments firm.
Cutrera is also a founding member of the Association of Independent Asset Managers (Hong Kong).
This publication has contacted Cutrera about the new venture and for further details about the firm; it may update in due course.
