Executive Search Firm Names MD For Tokyo

Financial services executive search firm Sheffield Haworth has appointed Bruce Baker as managing director and head of Tokyo.

Baker, who has over 20 years of experience in the Japanese executive search market, joins the firm from Russell Reynolds Associates, Tokyo. Prior to that, he ran his own recruitment practice called Bruce Baker & Co.

Also newly-appointed is Masayuki Koito, now head of research for Japan, who also joins from Russell Reynolds.

Sheffield Haworth has been expanding its network in the region due to the influx of new investment from overseas in the wake of the global crisis. The company presently has three offices in Asia - Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo - covering East Asia, Southeast Asia and Australasia. It undertakes search assignments on behalf of retail and investment banks, asset managers, law firms, insurers and corporates.
