SocGen Private Banking Appoints China Chief Executive

Société Générale Private Banking, the wealth management arm of France’s Société Générale which has been present in China since 2007, has appointed Hsiao-Yun Lee as chief executive of SGPB in China.

In statement announcing this appointment, the bank said that it considers China to be one of the fastest-growing wealth creation markets in the world.

Hsiao-Yun Lee, who has over 20 years of industry experience, has been an essential part of the private bank’s launch in China and has been with Société Générale Private Banking since 1997. Originally, she was based in Hong Kong and charged with developing a wealth management offering for Chinese clients. In 2007 she was appointed head of private banking China based in Shanghai.

Société Générale Private Banking has offices in Shanghai and Beijing.
