Senior Wealth Manager Is Leaving Standard Chartered Private Bank

This publication has more news on appointments and moves in the world of Asia-Pacific wealth management.

The head of investment advisory for Southeast Asia at Standard Chartered Private Bank is leaving the UK-listed lender, this publication can confirm.

Mario Becker, holding the title of managing director, has been at Standard Chartered for seven years and is based in Singapore, overseeing wealth of ultra-high net worth clients.

He was previously at Deutsche Bank's wealth management division.

This news service has asked Standard Chartered if Becker's role is to be replaced; it may update this item in due course.

Earlier in December Standard Chartered hired Chris Allen, a top regulatory lawyer from Barclays, as its new general counsel for clients and products, with responsibilities encompassing private banking.
