This publication has another exclusive story on a senior move by a European-headquartered bank in the Asia region.

A former team leader for Thailand at ABN AMRO, Serene Tan, has been appointed by Julius Baer, the Swiss private bank, as a relationship manager in the Asia region, this publication can exclusively report.

It is understood that Tan took up the post in August and is based in Singapore.

This publication asked Julius Baer about the move but the bank declined to comment.

On the other side of the ledger, three former Julius Baer managers have been recently hired by LGT Bank, the Liechtenstein-headquartered firm, as reported by this publication yesterday.(See here.)
