AXA Investment Managers Appoints Director To Focus On Asian Private Banks

The global asset manager has expanded its business development team in Asia with a new director.

AXA Investment Managers has hired Kelly NG as director, private bank, Asia.

Based in Singapore, Kelly will be responsible for boosting AXA IM’s coverage of private banks and wealth managers in Asia. He will report to the company's head of sales and marketing for Asia, Terence Lam.

He joins from Permal Singapore where he was vice president, business development, covering South Asia from 2011. Before this, he held various business development and marketing roles at Citi Singapore.

“He brings with him over eighteen years’ experience in serving the needs of wealth management clients and we look forward to working with him to strengthen our coverage of private banks at a time when demand for asset management services in the region is growing rapidly,” said Lam.

AXA Investment Managers had approximately €689 billion ($751 billion) in assets under management as of the end of March, with a network of 28 offices in 21 countries.
