The new CEO has served in senior roles within Indosuez in regions including Asia.

Azqore, a digital service provider for wealth managers, and part of Indosuez Wealth Management, has appointed Pierre Masclet as its chief executive.

Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, Masclet is a member of Indosuez’s management committee and reports to Jacques Prost, chief executive of Indosuez. He is succeeding Pascal Exertier, who is retiring, the firm said in a statement yesterday. The appointment takes effect at the start of May.

Masclet has over 30 years of experience in wealth management within the group. He began his career at Banque Indosuez in 1992. From 1995 to 2005, he joined the front office teams of Indosuez Wealth Management in France. In 2005, Masclet took over responsibility for the product teams and the private clients of the Crédit Agricole Regional Banks. In 2008, he was appointed head of business development for Indosuez in France. In 2012, he moved on to Indosuez in Switzerland as head of markets, investment and structuring, before being named CEO of Indosuez in Asia in 2017.

Subsequently, Masclet became deputy CEO of Indosuez in 2019 where he led business development for the group.

Azquore specialises in information systems outsourcing and banking transaction processing for the wealth management industry, and has been in the business for almost three decades. It has completed more than 60 bank migrations on its banking platform; it serves 26 clients worldwide with a total of about SFr200 billion ($214.8) in assets under management.

Masclet is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP). He holds a master's in business law from the Paris II University and a DESS (Specialised Graduate Diploma) in international taxation at HEC.
