JP Morgan Asset Management Appoints Managing Director In APAC

The firm has expanded its executive team in the region.

JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed Kenneth Tsang to the newly-created role of managing director and head of research and strategy for real estate in Asia-Pacific.

Previously, Tsang held the role of managing director at US-based RED Capital. He has been working in the real estate industry with a focus on the APAC region since 1993.

Prior to his role at RED Capital, he was head of APAC research and strategy at LaSalle Investment Management and held various research roles at Sanford Bernstein, ING Real Estate Investment Management and Jones Lang LaSalle.

Tsang will be based in Hong Kong and will lead the real estate research and strategy team for JP Morgan Asset Management in APAC.

“An experienced, on-the-ground team of professionals of Kenneth’s calibre is required to identify market trends and the most compelling risk-adjusted opportunities,” said David Chen, head of real estate in APAC at JP Morgan Asset Management.
