Cambridge Associates Builds Outsourced Alternatives Offering

Cambridge Associates, the investment advice and research provider, has appointed Jeffrey Mansukhani as a managing director, responsible for the firm’s research navigator strategy.

The strategy Mansukhani takes charge of connects sophisticated investors with alternative specialists at the firm, as well as its online platform of quantitative data and qualitative information on hedge funds and private investment managers. This covers 2,500 hedge funds and 10,000 private funds, including manager due diligence and performance.

The appointment is part of the firm’s strategy to create a standard outsourced offering for hedge fund and private fund oversight, according to Scott Berney, president and chief operating officer.

Mansukhani was previously a specialist consultant at Cambridge, creating and overseeing private portfolios for university, foundation, non-profit and family wealth clients, with total assets of between $200 million and over $100 billion, the firm said.

He is based in Menlo Park, CA. The firm’s other offices are in Arlington, VA; Boston, MA; Dallas, TX; London; Singapore; Sydney, and Beijing.
