Mirabaud & Cie, the Swiss wealth manager, has appointed René
Hermann to the newly created position of head of its Zurich branch, it said yesterday.

Hermann was previously head of private banking at Valartis
Bank and at Maerki Baumann & Co, where he was responsible for the
development and expansion of its front office, as well as for advisory and portfolio
management services. He began his career as a private banker with Credit Suisse
in Zurich.

Mirabaud & Cie was founded in Geneva
in 1819 and now has 625 employees with offices in Geneva,
Basel and Zurich,
as well as London, Paris,
Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia
and Luxembourg, along with Montreal, Hong Kong and Dubai.
